Wild mushroom resources are not only rare, not easy to collect, and are limited by natural conditions such as ecological environment and season. What's important is that many wild mushrooms are contaminated with alarmingly high levels of toxic heavy metals. However, heavy metals are not necessary for mushroom growth. According to research, mushrooms absorbing heavy metals is only a self-protection mechanism that is started when it is in a bad growth environment.
